You no longer want to take the customer's credit card information over the phone? Do you want to send a deposit request for a quickly sold vehicle where the customer is not in person? Traction now offers the ability to request payment with the Stripe platform. If you want to have this module which is offered for free, you can write us and we will be happy to connect it.
How to send a payment *always from the customer's file*.
1. In the 3 points, you have the option: Payment list
2. Click on the green Request a Payment button and a window will appear
3. Choose the method of sending either by email or text or both. Make sure that the fields are filled in the customer's record, otherwise it will not be possible to send. ID Traction is normally used to indicate the invoice number or contract number.
4. The customer will receive these messages
5. If you are requesting payment for an opportunity (in this case a vehicle sale), you must use the 3 dots to the right of Sales Opportunity and follow the same steps as above.
How to access the payments
1. Tools -> 2. My Payments (only yours) or Payment List (all employees)
3. Full display
4. Filter as needed
5. Icons
a) Expired: the customer has 24 hours to complete the payment. It is always possible to recreate the request if the customer wishes.
b) Complete: the payment went through successfully
c) Complete (1) Normal: if the first attempt failed and the second is passed, you will see the information

d) Consolidate: when the accountant posts the payment, she can come and consolidate. However, only the person who has the role PAYMENT_MANAGER can do this.
e) Mark as read: when the customer is going to make the payment, you will receive a notification and to remove this notification, you have to set it as read. However, you can set only your payments to read.
CANCEL A PAYMENT
When the status is still open, you can cancel the payment request instead of waiting 24 hours
RECEIPT CONFIRMATION
The customer will be able to receive a confirmation of payment and print the receipt

PAYMENTS
The customer now has the option to pay in 4 installments (Afterpay) or pay in full (credit card). You will receive the total amount even if the customer wants to make 4 payments.
